Prepare to wait at least 12 hours or more, to see a doctor. This is the worst hospital ever. They say it's an emergency, but I have seen people faint in the emergency room. I have been here for over 4 hours now. And has not moved since. If you want attention, please dont come here

After 7 hours of waiting and listening to staff laugh an discuss patients issues, I finally had a "Dr" come see me. Didn't look at my injury, had a chuckle to himself after pointing out I no longer have a family Dr (retired). Never asked about medications until I pulled out what I was already prescribed to then indicated he doesn't have authority to put me off work.. . Back On July 16/17..issues from morning surgery. You can tell the staff like working here because the service from the cleaners to the doctors and everyone in between was so good. I was admitted with heart problems, and within a day I had all the tests needed to send me to the QEII.

I just want to send a huge shout out to the Amherst outpatients today. I was really struggling to breathe today and I fly out to Alberta tomorrow they helped me with flying colors they did every test possible and made sure I was in the clear to fly. Huge shout out to Julie my travelling nurse who went above and beyond and was an amazing every step of the way and to Dr Doucette for running every test possible to make sure I was okay. You guys made a scary situation not so bad :) thank you again from the bottom of my heart 🩷
