It’s hard being a patient here when you know people who have died here. Like when BQ took her life in Paringa’s unit of 2021. I don’t know why that unit is still open. ‼️
There’s blood on the walls they swear isn’t there. It seeps out at night, thin lines running down like the building is bleeding. Sometimes it drips from the ceiling onto your sheets, warm, fresh but by morning, it’s gone. A ghost passed me in the hallway once, barefoot, leaving bloody footprints.
