l've been a loyal customer of Cumberlands Farms on Carew Street for years, and l've never witnessed the old manger, Rachel, speaking poorly about her employees. However, the new manager, the woman with a beard whom I believe is named Sam, constantly engages in conversations with customers about her employees. Additionally, she complains to customers about the people who reside directly behind the store because their yard ends up being littered with the store's trash. I went in the other day to grab a few things and was pretty happy with how clean and organized the place was. Shelves were stocked nicely and I found what I needed quick. The cashier was friendly and even cracked a small joke, which made my morning better. Prices seemed fair for a convenience store, maybe a little higher on a few items but nothing crazy. The coffee station looked fresh and well kept too. Overall, a good spot to grab snacks or essentials when you’re in a hurry.
