Horrible place!
I arrived at this shelter on June 10, 2025 after being told it was ADA compliant (I am currently wheelchair bound as I am a double amputee). I began documenting the child abuse and vulnerable adult abuse. Unsafe food handling. Emailing the Governor's Office, County Freeholders, and the health department. I had food poisoning 3 times in a week, and ended up hospitalized for two nights because of it. I did my housing searches, and simply needed maybe 90 days to get my Prosthetics to get to work. Marquita left there for a better job. Hahaha! They tell you apply for food stamps, but you can't eat or prepare your own food on the property. If you're not able to give 30% of your income. You're out. All about money with this place. How they're getting away with it? I don't know. I hear often from others, they don't help you get job or housing. Other shelters do.
