Thanks for your tree trimming & pole replacement program over the past few years.During this ice storm (late Jan- early February 2026), we lost power just a little over 26 hrs. This was a big improvement from the February 1994 ice storm, when it was out 9 days. The big thanks go to all the linemen for having to work in some nasty, foul conditions. You folks earn every penny plus more !

CEMC had a truck out to repair our internet within an hour after our internet went down. they had a truck dispatched to our road & worked for around 3 hours to get it back up and working. We've had CEMC internet for around 3 years and this was the first interruption to service we've experienced. Thank you CEMC workers for coming to fix the problem so quickly.
Our block loses power evertime there's any storm when neighboring blocks don't for the past 5 years. They mistake bills and call for payment when its already been done. They also shut off power because of errors in their billing system while im working from home. If you move here invest in solar panels. Worst service I've ever had.
Would give Cumberland electric in general 0 stars if I could. Autodrafts on the very day the bill is due, if you don’t have the money in the account don’t worry, the next day you’ll have a $30 fee waiting for you and they “dont waive fees” nevermind the fact I’ve made my payments on time every single time, this time I just didn’t realize it was auto on an account I dont keep much money in. Thanks guys, I appreciate the fee from you and my bank!
