Hamburgers were awesome! It's a very busy place so I assume it's very popular.
Whoa. Real bad situation at the clear lake Culver's. There is black mold in the ice and soda dispensers here. Not a little. A lot, folks. We told staff and they promptly began cleaning it. However, under no circumstances should a restaurant ever have that big of a problem in the first place. If something visible to the public was that out of whack I shudder to think of the kitchen conditions which are out of view. Reviewing at 2 stars because rest room was clean and the staff was friendly and responsive.
While I usually like the food, it is, after all, fast food. We ordered three double deluxe burgers. Got the bag home and pulled out three bowls of Culver's Chili. It was good....just not what we ordered. ;-)
My son has several food allergies and I was apprehensive of taking him to any fast food place because it but I had read on some allergy blogs that Culvers had been a good place to take him. So after calling and talking to someone who I believed was a manager I decided to take him in. The staff was great and even offered to cook his food in a non contaminated fryer. My son enjoyed his food and I enjoyed the peace of mind that everything was safe for him. Thank you we will be visiting again!
