Culvers has been my "go to" for double cheeseburgers with "everything" on it for years.Today was a disappointment. Received my meal basket and noticed when I was holding it, its lack of warmth. I felt the double stack of meat and it was "cool to the touch." Presume this double was made well in advance to my arrival. Thought Culvers was a made to order burger experience. Perhaps not. Culvers, am I being unreasonable here?
Was very impressed. Even for a Culver's this place was busy, busy, busy. Even so it was immaculately clean and the staff bright, cheerful, and friendly. We stopped for lunch while passing thru Iowa City on the way to visit kinfolk in Illinois.
