I have been going to Culpeppers Boat's since was just a little girl maybe 5years old. My Uncle and Aunt use ti rent a boat and take us out fishing and crabbing out by the bridge. my poor Uncle. all that rowing, back then. Still this day, my sister and her husband still come out to the same place. they rent boats and love to fish on the pier. they also get their supplies and crabs from their too. such a warm and family atmosphere. I have always recommended everyone to go to Culpeppers. it's a landmark for Portsmouth for sure❤... read more

the best place to rent boats
We bought a bushel of crabs here yesterday and they were the tastiest crabs we've ever had! We will be buying our crabs from Culpeppers Boat House from now on!
Incredibly nice and extremely inexpensive! Had a great time out on the water -- caught many blue claw crabs!
