Thank you for not declawing cats; for not performing this barbaric partial digital amputation on a once healthy cat. I made sure my veterinarian did not declaw before I chose one. Thankfully they are nearby, otherwise I would travel counties if I had to. There is a lot of talk about fear free pets, especially declawed cats, who are difficult to get into their carriers and off to the vets. My dog was injured and I needed a last minute appointment--my normal vet was booked and suggested I call Culpeper Animal Hospital. It was 4:20 on Friday afternoon and they were able to see and care for my sweet dog. We were out of there by 6PM and she's doing much better. I can't thank you enough for making time to see her. The staff was awesome an.d it just felt like a good, comfortable place to take my dog for future visits. Thanks again!
I’ve been bringing my cats here for years. Everyone is friendly and caring and it’s obvious they really care about the animal’s comfort. Highly recommend.

We just brought our two, to CAH, for the first time this week. When we arrived, I, immediately, noticed the candle on the front counter (asking for sensitivity when it is lit, as someone is saying goodbye to their furbaby). I knew we were in the right place. The staff was very nice, and great with our pups. Jewel & Niko, are 2 years old, and I've done all of their vaccines except rabies, they haven't had regular vet visits.
