Great campground, well kept and wonderful owner (Ben) and staff. Clean grounds and facilities. Located outside of Franklin NC. But in the heart of the Smokies. It is a fun, friendly, relaxing campground for example everyone.
A lot of the campers are long term. Very friendly. Campground offers different activities for the campers. Owners are very nice people. Fun holiday parties. Great location.
Absolutely love this park, we try and camp on the river. It's a friendly place and the location is great as a jumping off site for sightseeing in the mountains. Those who say it isn't a river don't understand the waterways in the mountains, by flat land standards it doesn't carry the volume of water expected. At the right time of year it's stocked with trout.
Little slice of heaven!!! Extra friendly and accommodating!
Fire pits not on every site, more permanent campers than there are short term campers. Not really a river behind campsite, more like a creek, nothing to do in the area.
BEAUTIFUL site by the river! Was our first trip with our new camper. Everyone very friendly too!
Great place with nice people there. Can't wait for the next get together.
