A lid on my stockpot exploded while making chicken Basque, so I had to throw the entire meal away as the glass from the lid fell into the food and some pieces were very small and very sharp. (I cannot believe that they would put something so unsafe on the market!!!) I emailed them and nobody responded. I had to call them and eventually my phone call was returned. Definately BUYER BEWARE. I purchased a 6.5 quart grey stand mixer February 10th 2024. On February 11th 2025 (1 year later) it stopped working in the middle of my baking project. The warranty is for 3 years (which I registered for) Obviously I haven't used it daily for the past year, so for it to break down in less than a few months of use (technically) is unacceptable. I have had a bad experiance with the customer service of this company. I have called them multiple times and the customer support and service is awful. I created a ticket with them and they say a supervisor will call you back.. never calls back. I call again to inquire and the call drops the customer service agent doesn't even have the decency to call back. Online purchase is horrible can’t check out.
Just purchased a Cuisinart Stand Mixer. The look is great. But the downfall is when you're creaming your butter and sugars, it doesn't mix to the bottom. I had to constantly scrap the edges and the bottom.. it doesn't mix well at all. For the price of these small appliances you think you wouldn't have to do so much manually. I'm not impressed Update.
