It was very cold inside...Kind of expensive for what we received.
We go every week. And have been going ever since Henry opened. Perfection! Henry is a master chef and is such a caring person. His staff is amazing. The food is the only place in Orange County that we could find comparable to our old places that we loved in San Francisco.
Best chicken parmigiana I've ever had! They bake it so the chicken is flavorful and moist and the breaded crust is crispy but not overdone. Also, their smoked salmon pasta is a light blend of Alfredo with perfectly cooked smoked salmon and pasta, light yet full of flavor. The bread, the salad and homemade dressing are amazing as well!
What a great little hidden gem! Second time here tonight and the food was amazing like the last time! Tonight I had the chicken risotto. Wow! Really really good! Nice to know we have a really great Italian go to tight down the street from our house! Great job Cucina Sophia! We will be back!
We arrived on a Friday night and it was nice to have "live music" playing. We had very good service and the food came out hot and on time. I had the linguine ala vongole (Linguine w/clam red sauce). I thought the flavor of the sauce was very good. My son had the Grilled Salmon over pasta and he also enjoyed the food. My wife was not impressed with her meal (for her there is never enough seasoning). We will return, I need to try there chicken Parm and there Spaghetti Bolognese.
Drove by this place a handful of times and wondered how it was. The Mrs. suggested we go try it tonight and we were not disappointed. Good food. Good service. Our waitress Emily was super nice and a lot of fun. Guitar player Marcus was entertaining. We'll definitely be returning. Good salad, good bruschetta, good pasta.
