Yup, they got me too. I called and they acted like it was a surprise yet all these other folks have said the same. Mold was in and on everything. In the last 5 years I gave them roughly 8k to store family items after losing my father and they set themselves up to bear no accountability, both the unit and the insurance I paid for. Seems misleading that they call it climate controlled when the only thing they do is temperature monitoring with no regard to humidity. Super easy to go through the rental process and then super nice employee in the montoursville, PA location to make sure everything was done.
I felt very welcome when I rented my first space. I am very impressed with the size of the self storage complex and the fact that it is climate controlled. The rental cost is comparable or even better than the along-the-road outside storage rentals and it's heated/airconditioned!
Scam of a place. Nonstop rate increases. Fees to make payments. No store worker when they are open. App doesn't work and I can't pay online. Total rip off
