I used this CubeSmart location (Clinton Township, MI) over 10 years ago when it was ran under a different name. Both times have been an excellent experience. This facility is very clean on the interior and exterior—including the floors, walls, bathrooms, office, hallways and units themselves. It even smells clean. This place is terrible. I understand that storage facilities reserve the right to raise your rate if they want to, but they raised my rate by 43% in the first 2 months I was even with them. And when I called and asked about it (considering the only reason I went with them was because of the rate) they said there was nothing that they could do and that technically the market rate for my unit was much higher now even.
