Terrible experience with the front desk and billing staff. Had an IUD scheduled and the OB was unable to place it during my appointment so I was rescheduled. Got billed $750 (yes, after insurance) for the unsuccessful insertion. My insurance covers 100% of family planning services, spoke with the front desk and billing staff and they said it was because of the medical codes assigned to the visits. I have never had a worse experience in healthcare. I am new to the area and it was my first appointment. My daughter was sick during a snow storm and I arrived to the front desk 10 minutes late. I was told they would not see me. I asked their late policy and she said ten minutes. At that time I checked my cell phone and it was 1:11 PM for my 1 PM appointment. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the birth center and the entire group at 5280 OBGYN. I never met a provider, nurse, or anyone who wasn’t wonderful. The whole experience was great. I loved the birthing center tour early on with Laurie and all the support resources they have. The facilities are gorgeous. My baby was breech, so we had a planned c-section, and Dr. Koo was who I chose to deliver with. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and so down to earth. I highly recommend 5280. I have been a patient here since 2020. I’ve received the best care from the doctors and nurses. The doctors delivered all of my children. All the staff are patient and compassionate. They listen to understand my needs and work with me on providing the best care.
I had a virtual appointment with Dr Jennifer Holmes. When I was fearful of driving in bad winter weather, she was very accommodating. It was easy to join the virtual phone call. Dr Holmes was on time and listened carefully to my complaints. She offered a medicine that has eliminated the problem by about 95 %. She explained the side effects. My physical and mental life has improved!
