UC doesn't have an endocrinologist here, they need to update their website.
Dr. Rifkin in Endocrinology is an amazing specialist for diabetes and thyroid. She is up to date and has an excellent approach to helping patients make choices about their care. I love that on my last visit, she said, "We don't have to rush!" Since I have two endocrine issues, I really appreciated that she wanted me to take time to explore all of my concerns. She taught me new and important things about calculating my need for calcium supplementation and the risks of Vitamin D overdose with a popular supplement!!
