I had an excellent experience working with Brennan. He was incredibly patient, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Doctors and PT staff are amazing here. Have finally had doctors that really deeply listened and explored health concerns with me in a way I never experienced. The staff supporting has also been amazing to work. Great PT services too. I imagine lower reviews are more reflective of health care in this country than the work done here
STUDENTS AND PARENTS BEWARE I went to the csu therapy/psychiatry portion of the health center a few years ago and the psychiatrist told me word for word “you will always be depressed, experience ptsd, and have OCD. You will need to rely on medication for the rest of your life”. WELL well, there’s years later, I am healed and thriving. With no medications. That is such a dangerous thing to say to a student. I was luckily an adult learner at CSU so I was able to challenge the ideology, but younger students may not be so lucky.
As a premed student, this medical center taught me what not to be. It’s genuinely horrendous. This medical center makes students take a mental health survey for every visit, even if it does not correlate with the condition. They’ve falsely diagnosed five people I know with iron deficiency to get them out of the center, rather than thoroughly evaluating them. The malpractice here is absolutely sick. The office staff encouraged the spread of COVID and the flu by grouping sick students together in a close space. I could go on, ... read more
