Does not care about lived experience
Most of my many, many experiences with doctors here over the past 8+ years have been very good or great. I can’t recommend Jill Vesty high enough especially for LGBTQ+ students. The nurses and lab staff are also very nice and attentive. However, dealing with the admin people can be very frustrating. Students, always check with insurance / billing if you will be charged for something, don’t disclose information to doctors unless they are absolutely necessary and be very careful in general. As a student at CSU, I've visited the health network twice now. Once for a ruptured eardrum, and more recently for physical therapy services. Although the visit for my eardrum was great and I felt like I was truly being listened to, I really want to point out the physical therapy department. After undergoing a very complex, serious, and long-term leg surgery 2 years ago, I've been struggling with chronic pain and inflammation/swelling.
