I came all the way out here and they had all these stupid questions like "oh you've had a tattoo" like it was over a year ago, and when I went in to my doctor and had my regular check up, they said my blood's clean. All that time and energy coming out there just getting wasted. Should I have lied? The people who go to this place would say that. They don't value honesty and they love wasting my (and everyone's?) time.
I was disconnected agents because I have tattoos. I was told that I could not donate blood because of my tattoos. That is a blatant lie
Since this is the first time I've "donated" plasma I can't compare them to anyone else but so far it's been a positive experience. Facility is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The new person deal is pretty good $100 for the first 2 appointments then $75 for the next 3. It goes by weight tho so yours might be different (I'm 190 lbs) not bad for laying down and reading or whatever you want to do.
