Floor empty again when I was turned away. This time for "low protein reading". Last time it was my iron, and was told my protein looked great tho, just two days ago. Took the bus 2 hours here and waited in line for 30 minutes to be turned away (return donor). The woman taking my vitals saw me pull my sweatshirt sleeve up above my elbow for her to take my blood pressure, yet failed to let me know that doing so increases your heart rate reading. Therefore my heart rate was 105 rather than the 103 or 104 that they accept. This company is a terrible. They do not value their donors whatsoever. They offer a program called (IGiveRewards) Which means after 90 consecutive donations in one year you are supposed to be eligible for a Platinum Donor Membership and a special Prepaid Debit Card that does not include fees apon everyday transactions. Except they never actually let you achieve this as the company stalls your progress after 80 donations. Which keeps any donor from ever being able to get to their 90th donation per year mark and finally become... read more
