Giving them one star is more than I would like. This place is GOD AWFUL! Besides the uneducated staff and rude nurses I wish I saved my time and we to the Lawrence location. The employ that filled out all my paperwork did it all wrong, the nurse didn't ask my the right questions which led me having to get a doctors note saying it's okay for me to donate- had to go back to my doc THREE times because the nurse is an idiot and didn't tell me any information I need to know in order to have my doc fill out the form correctly. I've only been here a few times but I am impressed with their efficiency. I've donated for years at the Broadway location and there is a night and day difference. If you have a choice donate here
If your gonna go donate do it on a Monday or Wednesday those days are alittle slower
I went to donate on a Tue. Everyone was polite and did their job well. Didn't care for the bedside manor of the person who hooked me up as she rambled through her explanation as fast as she could while disregarding my anxieties. Nevertheless she got the job done just fine. I went back on Thu. Only this time I watched more of what was going on. Not once did I see anyone wash hands or change gloves between clients. please don't donate there. CSL will damage your arm and NOT pay you. They hire newbie phlebotomist stickers and under pay them. When your in pain and severely bruised because of an untrained phlebotomist and you want to be treated with kindness the director will say, you took the chance and now you get 5.00 or nothing such an insult for a DONOR I have donated for 20 years and have NEVER been treated so poorly.
