RecommendedThe service was excellent and the waiter Alec was very helpful in describing the different oysters on the menu ( they had about 12). I prefer bluepoint oysters myself which they did not have. The place is small and intimate and has a very nostalgic feel about it, like a 30’s dinner spot. If you want bigger portions this is not the place for you. Their portions are more like a french restaurant. If you are hungry go to Pappaduexs.
I showed up as a party of 1. I don't really care for Bar seating because it is impersonable, hard to hear the bartender, and place order. One of the waitress at the bar was nice and pleasant but the other one was distant and stand off. But I was direct to sit at the bar.
Wonderful experience!! My steak was superb! Reminds me of an old mafia type restaurant!
Had a great birthday dinner, the food was great and the service was excellent!!!
