This management company has shown a consistent pattern of poor communication, lack of transparency, and questionable handling of finances. Within just a few months, residents have been issued multiple “special assessments” of approximately $1,000 each, with little to no explanation, no proper notice, and no meaningful breakdown of what these charges are actually for. The fact that Curtis (if it’s still him in charge) has nothing better to do than berate people who share their negative experiences says everything you need to know about how/where this company prioritizes their time and money: punching down at the little guy.
I'm an owner in my complex. I have never had an issue with our property manager, I actually think he does a good job with communicating and dealing with issues. What a lot of people don't understand is that the condo board ultimately makes the decisions and the manager can (in most circumstances) only do as the board advises.Yes, there are problems in the complex, but I hold the board responsible for the vast majority, if not all of them.
