Overall, I had a good experience with the office. The staff is very nice and friendly. However, I did need to return multiple times for the same dental issue and unfortunately it still hasn’t been fully resolved.
Having moved recently, so was looking for a new dentist. Worst dental experience I have ever had. I had confirmed my records had been forwarded, hygienist kept insisting they didn't have any record. Finally, I had to go to front desk and they said he was looking in wrong place. Told him I prefer to limit x-ray exposure. 'Only a few would be taken' 17 x-rays and 2 x 360 degree because he screwed up the first one. Then 2 procedures recommended which a second opinion said were unnecessary. Dr. Chon comforted me during my wisdom teeth removal surgery with affirmation and validation. He was patient with me and helped me understand the process. I didn’t feel the needles, nor the extractions, although my wisdom teeth were hard to pull.
I am a patient of his from back in CT, for over 10 years and I want to say I miss him terribly! I’ve had multiple other dentists since he’s left and one horrific dental procedure that has now left me with extreme dental anxiety. I have had a lot of tough dental work in the past and know what to expect. Dr. Kroepel always did a fantastic job- even with the hardest procedures of extractions I had no pain or discomfort. You all who can go to him now are so lucky!
He is impatient, rude, and unprofessional. During my own visits, he wouldn’t be bothered to take the time to answer my questions. He even insisted I have a cavity filled when I was in the office for severe pain involving another tooth. He would not even address my pain until I had the filling performed. When he tried to test the marker on my tooth after the filling. I reminded him I couldn’t bite down because of the severe pain on the other side. Dr. Tiev spends time with each patient and makes sure you understand the procedures necessary. Her exams are thorough and gentle.
This place is a joke. I just needed a filling and they told me they would have to submit to my insurance before the filling could be done. That was late December. So I waited and waited and finally called the in late January. They told me it was overlooked and ha dme call my insurance company who told me everything was fine and I called back and told them what the insurance company said. The lady said they would resubmit. Had a procedure done and paid over $300 and it was supposed to be under $300. I ended up paying over the amount and received a refund a year and some months later smh.
