We had a blast!! Love Love Loved It!!! – My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary!! The Dillons made our stay fun and very romantic!! We participated in the murder mystery and it was awesome!! Every one was dressed in costume and looked great!! We met some great people and had a lot of fun!! A Charming Experience – My wife and I wanted a little getaway from the Dallas Metroplex and chose the Crystal River Inn from viewing their website. As a result of our experience I write this review, listing the pros and cons as honestly as I know: Cons: - The room we originally stayed in (San Marco) was hot. Opulence in a cozy B&B. – The Scene This mansion was constructed in 1883 by the co-founder of Southwest Texas State University. Relaxing stay – We stayed in the Sabinal room in the Young House, across the street from the Main House. The room decor was pretty, although the bedding seemed old. It was very homey and relaxing. The claw-footed tub was a nice touch. The only drawback to the nights was that facing a fairly busy street, the room was sometimes loud with car noises.
