Stayed one night while passing through. Nice pull through sites with an elevated concrete pad with nice picnic tables. As many have previously stated, no trees or shade yet... takes time. For several extra fees, looks like a small lake with inflatables and extras for the kids to play/swim. We were there in late August when kids must have been back in school because there were actually very few campers there and nobody at all in the lake/play area. Awesome campgound!!!!! My family had so much fun at the lake on the wibits every day of our stay. And the go-carts were such an extra bonus! Also, the deep water/go-cart pass was very reasonably priced to add on to your campground reservation. We stayed over the 4th of July and the fireworks show they put on was better than the town's 4th of july fireworks show. We will definitely be back! Our boys have already asked us when we will be back again :)
We loved staying here. Jean, Kate & John were all very helpful & kind. The owner Ben is really awesome too. He's truly made a fun camping experience for people of all ages. Very nice campground & kept up well. If we ever find ourselves back in this area we will definitely stay here again. Sincerely, Vanessa
If there was an option to put a negative star. I had to put one star just to put this review. Me and a family member moved all the way from Arizona for work and we were denied lodging due to discrimination of the owner of the company we work for.
This is one of my favorite campgrounds. It is in a quiet location and has great facilities. The reason for the three starts is the staffing. The staff is not friendly and often gives attitude or rude remarks. While we were there they accused children (under the age of 10) of breaking into the playground because it had a lock on it. When the kids (without parents present) told the employee it was open she said they were wrong and they had cameras and would check the surveillance.
