Nice food, but service is lacking – My husband and I dined here for restaurant week. The food was decent (though they failed to give us what we requested twice during the meal). The service was exceptionally slow, however; there just didn't seem to be enough people on staff. When we first entered the establishment we had to wait 10 min before someone actually noticed us waiting at the front. It was another 5 min before someone came to seat us. Great food, Poor service – My husband and I enjoyed the honey walnut shrimp, beef with broccoli, and tamarind chicken. The food is not necessarily the most creative, but it is very tasty. The restaurant itself has a nice ambience, and we were seated right away. Unfortunately, we found the service to be rushed and inattentive. We may return if we are in the area and craving Chinese food, but I think that in the near future we will be trying out some different Chinese restaurants.

Good Food – If you are looking for tasty Chinese food, I definetly recommend this place. There is never a wait to be seated, and the service is good. I recommend the Chow Fun and the Black Bean sauce fish fillet. Ample parking and a cozy outdoor seating area.

EXCELLENT DIM SUM AND FOOD! – We have eaten at Crystal Jade about 3 times and had excellent service each time. The Dim Sum is wonderful and the quality superb with no MSG added! Best Chinese restaurant in Irvine! – I moved to Orange County less than a year ago from Tokyo. I believe that you can get the best of any types of food including French, Italian, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, of course Japanese, bread and cakes in Tokyo.
