This building is a hidden gem in the center of the city. We have lived here for close to 2 years and love many things. The service teams - from the doormen to the package room to the handyman, have been friendly and their service was always on point. The apartments have premium fittings with spacious rooms. Storage is floor to ceiling which is not seen in most apartments, where you simply have a hanger rod and a single shelf. Lived here for ~5 years. Staff is absolutely phenomenal and management is extremely quick to respond/resolve issues. Apartments are well laid out and rent is reasonable. I would recommend Glenwood to anyone looking to rent in NYC.
If I could give zero stars, I would. A bathroom mirror cabinet door in our apartment suddenly fell and hit my husband on the head, causing a bleeding injury. He had to see a doctor, undergo medical evaluation including a CT scan, and was excused from work, which meant we lost weeks of income. This directly impacted our ability to pay rent and keep up with financial obligations. Glenwood Management immediately denied all responsibility and passed us to their insurance provider.
