This is definitely not agege bread at all. I usually don’t leave reviews but that’s how different it tasted from agege bread. I was quite displeased. And the fact it was $6, i was better off buying a regular bread from a bakery for way less but way better in a taste.
I bought a couple of loaves of Agege bread from a store that I frequent on Upper Ottawa Street. The kitchen scales were on the counter when I brought them home, for some reason I thought I'll weigh them. One loaf was 861 grams the other was 854 grams, yet the weight shown on the package is 920 grams. That is nigh on 8% underweight. This bread is sold in a sealed plastic bag, thus the weight was short when packed. Prices are high enough without companies delivering a short weight and cheating customers. The bread is tasty and preservative-free! It's lighter than other agege bread I've tried in Ontario and digests relatively easier with less sugar spiking observed. The atmosphere is also warm and inviting and personnel pleasant. Would definitely recommend!
