This place hands down was the worst RV rental experience we have ever had, not to mention the customer service was atrocious. The initial process was smooth, then when it came time to pick up it was all downhill from there. We planned to rent this RV with intentions of taking my father in law to our family reunion In St. Louis. Drove great the whole trip. 4500 miles. Never had any problems.
Had a experience with Cruise America won't go into details but after speaking with customer relations just spokee with a gentleman named Christopher Davis he was wonderful very professional and was a great help he has restored my confidence in Cruise America
the people at the rental location in Pace, FL were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately the rental RV had mechanical issues with the generator so the AC did not work for the unit. It was 92 degrees and we were stuck in traffic it was miserable. The were a few other mechanical issues. the gas millage was terrible which I expected but it was so bad it ended up being more than the millage rate to rent the RV. Bed was very difficult to get in and out of. Has convinced me I never want to travel by RV again.
My low score is with Cruise America. The Pace retail facility has been great, they would get a 5 star. We returned the motor home 4 days early because of the impact to our home from Hurricane Sally, which was significant but livable. We were charged for the entire two week period (read the fine print on your contract) and the $14 daily insurance coverage because that was our contract.
