This past Saturday night we had intended to go to another restaurant that has been a favorite for years but we walked past Ciao and stopped to look at menu on the building. Gustavo walked outside and suggests we dine there and we would not be disappointed. Boy was he right. Calamari and gnocchi were to die for and we felt so welcome and appreciated. They even brought out dessert and sang Happy Birthday to my daughter. This will be our “new spot” in NYC!! Thx guys!!
Will make this place a regular spot to visit on my trips to Manhattan. Small place that makes you feel like home. Staff and management are super friendly with great service. Food and drink are excellent. White wine sangria in the summer is perfetto. Make sure to bring a joke to tell the manager/host.
