My husband and I were there October 1st and attempted to get into a nearby restaurant that had a two hour wait. We wandered the area and stumbled upon Crudo. It was rather empty at the hour (about 3:30pm) and a first we weren't sure they were open. We walked in and there were a couple people sitting down eating, but overall very quiet. We had a great dinner last night. The food and service was awesome. Loved the pink taco and spicy margarita!
We had a great gurls night out here! The food was excellent, the One Night Stand roll had everything we like andcwas delicious and the Geisha Girl roll was an interesting new taste wuth the garlic chip on top and was also very good. The service was excellent and when one of our small bites came out late, they not only took it off our bill, but the chef brought us out a free dessert at the end. A light chicolate sponge cake over a white cream, with a garnish of crunchy dark chocolate strips - yummy!
Crudo is hands down one of the best new additions to the neighborhood. The food has gotten increasingly more impressive since they opened. Don't like sushi? No problem. The menu is so diverse, even my pickiest friends have a ton to choose from. The brunch is out of this world. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. Pork belly hash? Crab rangoon omelette?
