Had terrible experiences with the community nurse Heidi. You can request NOT to see her, and other nurses are much more lovely and supportive. With my first newborn’s 2 week check, she started off the session letting us know how our information is handled, and to this day I still remember she said “if we find that you may be putting your baby in danger, it can result in us reporting you and your baby may get taken away from you” - what a great way to start a session with a sleep deprived new mum! went twice - fantastic supportive nurses with decades of experience. They know well what to do. As a parent to our second child, I learn from them new things. And they help us sort issues swiftly. Thanks
Nurses are awesome. Very helpful and experienced. The wait before appointments is usually long though, which is the only annoying thing.
