My stay at the Crowne Plaza in Downtown Columbus was my first time staying at a Crowne Plaza location and it was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Such a beautiful hotel! The staff at check in was very attentive, polite, and efficient in getting me checked in after a very long day. There was convenient public parking with a walkway straight to the hotel, which I very much liked. The room when I arrived was perfect. SO very clean, modern, and plenty of plug in spaces (traditional outlets as well as USB charging ports for my mobile devices). It was bright and inviting. There was also a window with a beautiful view of the outside fountains and the Nationwide building, which was lit up beautifully at night with gorgeous blue lights. The bathroom was amazing and incredibly clean, bright white, and ready to use. The shower, toilet, and sink were SO clean. I loved the large bathroom mirror and lighting. Everything felt very spacious. The beds were SO comfortable and the pillows were perfect. A very peaceful night of sleep was had that evening for sure and very much needed. I loved the wide flat screen tv attached to the wall and the selection of channels for my to choose from. There were various pieces of very nice, beautiful, and modern art that hung throughout the room (which felt more like a suite than a room). It was a very nice touch to an already great room. I appreciated the tray with coffee maker and ice bin (and that the ice dispenser was only feet away from my room.) The hotel was in a great, convenient location to dinner food options, whether going out or getting delivery in. The hotel staff was very helpful and provided me with several pamphlets of their favorite locations for ordering in after a long exhausting day. I cant speak highly enough about this hotel, the staff, and my first stay at the Crowne Plaza! Check in and check out was very efficient and painless. The staff was incredibly efficient and courteous.

i knew i was in trouble when the front desk girl could'nt count money..i had to help her then the manager came over to give me a new receipt and didnt put that i paid cash and double charged me...then said i didnt pay cash and my friend was with me and she paid half,she was right there and they r trying to call me and her a liar..i own a business and would never treat my clients that way....i strongly suggest that you DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! when we going to our room some body was moaning so loud having sex in the room next to ours that the bellhop was embarassed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!rip offs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they robbed me of $700 cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stay at the westin...they know what they are doing!!!!!!!!!!!! the front desk at Crown plaza are thieves and they are clueless at thier job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! be aware......t

From check-in to check-out it was a very unpleasant experience. The staff were very unfriendly and the managers handled several situations very poorly.
