This place was awesome. It's so nice to stay in a place with a kitchen, it can really stretch your vacation budget to cook your own meals. The mansion is beautiful, the garden is beautiful, there's nice trails in the woods behind the property, and all the guests, residents and staff were very respectful.

You would have to go all the way to Victoria or Vancouver to find anywhere else to eat or stay that compares with the Crown Mansion, right here in Qualicum. This place lives up to its name in every single department, from the hotel rooms/villas to the dining room, to its lovely location. Stayed at Crown Mansion for my birthday and had the best time, the staff were all so lovely, the room was really clean and incredibly comfortable. Ate in the restaurant on one of the nights and all the food was top notch. Can't recommend enough!
