Sunflower II and Crown as a whole was a pretty solid rental experience for me. Monika is always very willing to work with tenants on scheduling, which is appreciated. The building itself is a bit old and has the occasional issue, for example my door stuck pretty badly when it got very cold, and it had a significant draft. Apparently that was because of the foundation shifting, so I understand why management wasn't able to fix it. This is a great location at a reasonable price. CVS and Butler Wine right across the street and only a few blocks from the Square. Quiet and comfortable with offstreet parking. Maintenance is 24 hours and quick repairs.

In response to Teresa Dunten's post. The lease specifically tells tenants that we do not do just summer subleasing. Tenants have to initial after reading each paragraph of the lease. The apartments do have electric heat but there are heating units in the living room AND the bedroom. The square footage at Sunflower II is 540 sq. ft. Tenants are told their electric bill can run as low as $30 and as high as $120. That depends on your use.
