Go Elsewhere A rather rude, uniformed hack, working the hardware counter told me "Kwikset locks are too difficult for them to re-key and cost $80.00." So I purchased a Kwikset lock from a nearby competitor for $47.00 and re-keyed it myself in less than 1 minute. How? Because ALL Kwikset deadbolts have "SMARTKEY RE-KEY TECHNOLOGY" and takes less than a minute of time. Seriously, learn your job, maybe do some reading...

Best Place I have found! I had the best luck finding what I needed at this place. I had spent months restoring our 1910 Craftsman we had moved into the previous year and they had things I could not find anywhere else, even on line. Their selection is unbelievable and the staff is very helpful (but go in the mornings as the afternoons can be busy).

thought they were the best I thought they were problem-solvers, not problem creators. I went there to match some hinges and got what I thought was a close match. When I put them on, I found that they were not the right finish. I took ONE UNOPENED, UNUSED set back to exchange for the right finish and they wouldn't do it without a receipt. Really pissed me off, so I'm going elsewhere from now on.

S. Roberts Maybe the best source anywhere for hard to find hardware. When I started to upgrade my house I went looking all over for items and they were the only ones who had everything I needed. They have a custom architectural department and Mike was able to look at my plans and put together a package that saved a lot of money. In the future they won't be the last place I shop. They'll be first.

They are the best for Historic Hardware I always go there first for hardware. I got my door bells, door handles, house numbers, cabinet handles, etc. They had almost everything I needed for an old house. Prices can be expensive so I have to slow down and not buy the store.

Great home restoration resource What a find this place is! If you are restoring or redoing an older home and love the craftsman or old world style of fixtures door knobs light switches etc this is the place to go. If they don't have it in the store, the customer service counter at the back has a large number of catalogs that you can look through and order from.

Place to Find Period Hardware This is a great place to look for period hardware such as doorknobs, hinges, light plates, drawer pulls, etc. This store is also a superb hardware resource if you're remodeling a craftsman home. The selection is extensive, and, if they don't have what you're looking for, you can check through the catalogs at the service counter and order from there. The quality is high, but, unfortunately, so are their prices. Still the selection is hard to beat.

Great Craftsman Restoration Resource If you are restoring your craftsman home you can find all the period door hardware, hinges, cabinet hardware, window hardware, switch plates, etc. here. Great quality, but unfortunately there are no bargains to be found here. I paid about $50 each for some drawer pulls. Beautiful though!

Great if you are looking for antique & period hardware, everything from hinges to doorknobs. Good selection of modern products made to look antique.
