I have been to a total of 4 Acura dealerships in different states throughout the many many years that I have owned my MDX. This by far was my wost experience. Every other Acura dealership that I have been to provides you with a detailed/itemized price list for full transparency, Curry Acura did not. I brought my vehicle to DCH Montclair Acura on June 27, 2025, for an oil change, a ***** brake recall, and a seat issue. I received no communication all day until 20 minutes before closing. When I picked up the car, I discovered the driver-side window wouldnt roll up, and there was visible damage to the window channel and mirror.I immediately informed the service advisor, who acknowledged the issue and said they'd review security footage. I purchased a 2*** ************* **** from Acura of Stamford, and it turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare. This vehicle was a lemon from the start. I had issues with it almost immediately after driving off the lot — warning lights, mechanical problems, and constant malfunctions. I brought the car back to their service department FIVE times, and each time they failed to properly fix anything. They sold me a Lemon truck with a bend axle and many other problems. I have spend thousand of dollars repairing my truck. They refused to help me with any of the repairs. They knew this truck was wreck and they never told me. Thats where the a le got bend. Terrible experience. ******** dealership

I cannot recommend this dealership. While they initially treated me well, when the used vehicle I purchased had issues, they did not live up to their promise to help me fix the minor issues to make it right (which was literally promised to me by they sales person, including one of their lead salesmen - ***** *******... do NOT believe anything this man tells you! BUYER BEWARE! Bought a not-so-old used car that appeared nice and clean on the visible areas. When a broken part underneath was discovered within a week, they refused any accountability or responsibility for what would be a somewhat inexpensive fix for them. They hide behind no promises on used cars. I would DISCOURAGE anyone from doing business with McGrath Acura in Libertyville.

Jaime was great and went above and beyond to get me a good deal, I will say there needs to be better communication. As a customer coming from Massachusetts you would think a dealership on a bordering state would have a runner in order to make registration seamless, especially knowing that MA doesn’t allow temp, or dealer plates. My sales person didn’t really know too much about the process until after I signed and paid for my deal. I just wish I was told it would take WEEKS to receive my plates in the mail. We paid for a program that is called appearance program. But when we tried to get issues repaired we get no where. Even called corporate office and got no where. Acura is got to be the worse company to deal with.

I have had greatest experience buying my 2014 ***** Accord. I came from ********,IN and was blown away at the professionalism of the sales,finance and service departments.
