I am writing this review for the Property Mgr. for Avenue Living’s Chinook Gardens in SW Calgary, Chidy Oleh. He is always professional in demeanor, addresses your questions and concerns efficiently and thoroughly… and is super friendly. A great employee, I would say, for Avenue Living.
My experience with Avenue Living has been extremely frustrating. The company overwhelms you with constant calls, emails, and messages, yet the information they provide is inconsistent and inaccurate. I was searching for a one-bedroom apartment in Saskatoon with an in-suite washer and dryer. After spending about 30 minutes with a representative (Sonia), I was told about a unit at the Parkway building for $1,332. I would get this management team and this Avenue living a 0 star. Unfortunately that's not feasible. Please be for warned if you live with family members or roommate and pay the damage deposit and they're listed on the lease. The check has to be made out to apparently both of you or all 3 of you. And you don't have a joint account together. The damage deposit return is useless. The building also is not non-smoking. Mr. Mathew has made a significant difference in our experience at Astor Villa. He responds to every complaint promptly and takes action in a quick and efficient manner. Beyond that, he offers thoughtful, client-friendly suggestions that genuinely improve living conditions. His positive attitude, kindness, and cheerful personality make interactions pleasant and reassuring. He truly goes above and beyond, and it’s because of him that I feel well-supported as a resident.
Avenue living is the best place to live. I have been a tenant since 2020. I am happy and feel like in my own home. Myles the regional manager is so cool and very friendly person. Thanks for the chance to review .
Autumn and I have had an amazing lease so far. Maintenance has been quickly served whilst the property manager has been an effective communicator!
I went today for a viewing in Avalon Court, although the units have a good space, and the price seems average to other places, the assistant manager was condescending and, at a certain moment, rude, he treated me as if I were a newcomer who has never rented an apartment, when evidently he is the newcomer and has no cultural sensitivity towards other cultures besides his own. I lived in Avalon court from the time it opened until about4 years later. I never had ANY issues whatsoever and the oriperty was very well run! It was unfortunate that I had to leave, because Chistine was right on top of things and very personable.
