Our experience at Crossroads has been so wonderful for our entire family. Our son began working with Kaitlin for Occupational Therapy and later added Speech with Alayna. They both are so thoughtful, motivating, and proactive. OT and SLP are made fun and exciting for him with these two. Each week they work with him on tools and techniques that consider not just their specialities, but the whole wellbeing of the child. My son has been seeing Kaitlin Cyrier for OT and Mary for speech for over 1 year. I love how they approach his therapy holistically and meet him where he is. My son went from viewing drawing and writing as a non preferred task to now enjoying drawing and even writing little notes. Mary not only addresses his speech but also his communication skills. Under their care my son has been better able to integrate into his class and complete his assigned work.
Mary has been working with our 5 year old son and is an incredible therapist. Not only has she given our son the gift of using his voice and verbal communication, she has built his confidence and developmental skills in other areas too. We are so grateful to Mary for enabling us the joy of conversation with our son. Mary builds trust and offers support and guidance to families and we will be eternally grateful.
I started with Mary in October and “graduated” just this past week. I was very self-conscious about my voice, but Mary demystified the process, treating less like a patient and more like friend. She not only taught me how to guide my speech into the voice I want, but took an interest my general well-being, providing support on the days I didn’t think I could push through.
