I’ve been working with Karen for several years, and she has been truly amazing. She has helped me navigate some very difficult seasons with compassion, wisdom, and genuine care. Karen creates a safe, welcoming space where I feel comfortable opening up and being honest. I’m especially grateful for how she incorporates faith- including praying with me, which has been incredibly comforting and meaningful. Since my diagnosis of Bipolar 1 almost 5 years ago I have been struggling with medications and therapists who know or understand the issues I face. I’ve tried Numerous medications most of which feel as if they calm my mood by leaving my head so cloudy. Lithium in particular leaves me almost disabled making me sluggish, disorganized, and dumb.
