My son was a patient of Rick Schenkelberg, he showed no sympathy nor interest on my son’s mental health and complete ignorance of the subject, one time I asked what Respiredone medicine does to the brain, he said he didn’t know, but he prescribed anyway!! Sometimes, he held sessions lasting only 5 minutes, that combined with his lack of knowledge and no empathy prompted me to try service elsewhere. My daughter, who is diagnosed with severe mental illness is a current client.Her psychiatrist, crisis team is not helping and refusing to provide assistance to her Guardian when help is needed asap! Experiencing hard time with my husband reaching staff and communicating with them. wouldb't recommend this place to people with severe mental health problems, who in need of immediate help
The Crossroad Crisis Hotline has helped immensely over the years. The group of people who are in the crisis hotline group are so supportive, patient & caring. They listen to you & help in anyway they can. They have helped my family & I even on weekends! I don’t know what I would have done over the last couple years without their support & guidance.
