I've done CrossFit for several years, at a few different gyms, and most of the time the Coaches give little personal attention, allow bad movement, or act like drill sergeants, or all of the above. Mike at SV really knows his stuff, more than any other coach is North County I've seen. He's a stickler for form, but still respectful and easy going- which is reflected in his clientele. Also a beautiful facility. I'm happy I found CFSV.
I've known Mike and Acacia for some time now. After taking some time away from Crossfit, I was so excited to see that they had opened a gym in Vista. They take a completely different approach to Crossfit here and really focused on building a solid foundation for your fitness first. The well-rounded approach to wellness, and the small group trainings are perfect for me. I'm finally excited about fitness again.
