Rod and Diane seemed far more focused on payments than on their members. If zero stars were an option, that's what I would give this place. Every summer I stay in Augusta for 1-2 months. I wanted to continue doing CrossFit, so I searched Google Maps. This gym was the closest to my house, and its 4.9 rating convinced me to contact Rod. Dropped in while visiting family. Great gym, knowledgeable coaches and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone in the Augusta area

CrossFit 1209 will probably forever be my favorite CrossFit gym. They gave me a family and motivation while I was away from home. I joined because I was in rut after being away from home for two months (military training) and I’m leaving three months later, stronger and wishing they could come back with me. The coaches are all fantastic and encouraging, along with everyone that is part of the gym. I will miss my 1209 family❤️ and strongly recommend Crossfit 1209 to anyone looking for a great environment to grow in.

Expensive (and raising) prices on memberships. For anyone considering a membership here, please be very mindful that they don't do a trial of their membership and in order to cancel, they require 4 weeks notice and will not give a full refund or help in any way after charging you.

I moved to Augusta for the military and shopped around for gyms immediately after I arrived. Some other gyms in the area are fine, but it was a no brainer that after one session at CrossFit 1209, the community and workouts they provided were exactly what I was looking for. Everyone is super motivated and supportive of one another, and the workouts are always tough!
