Expensive (and raising) prices on memberships. For anyone considering a membership here, please be very mindful that they don't do a trial of their membership and in order to cancel, they require 4 weeks notice and will not give a full refund or help in any way after charging you.
I moved to Augusta for the military and shopped around for gyms immediately after I arrived. Some other gyms in the area are fine, but it was a no brainer that after one session at CrossFit 1209, the community and workouts they provided were exactly what I was looking for. Everyone is super motivated and supportive of one another, and the workouts are always tough!
Such a great experience! Coaches Rod and Diane were so welcoming and I’m so thankful for their help with scaling and attention to details. A great time for a visit and I’ll definitely be back. Check them out if you’re in town or if you’ve moved and need a new gym!
The coaches, Rod and Diane, are truly excellent — knowledgeable, encouraging, and the kind of coaches who know when to push you and when to meet you exactly where you are. They’re great about offering modifications, so no matter your fitness level, you feel supported and challenged in the best way.
