Wendy and her team were professional, communicative and a pleasure to work with. They kept us informed every step of the way and I could not say enough nice things about everything they did throughout the homebuying process. Working with The Wendy Krischke Team at CrossCountry Mortgage was a great experience. They were organized, efficient, and always one step ahead. Their communication was excellent, and they kept everything on track from application to closing. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and take pride in what they do. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Scam company, buys home loans and then doesn't allow people to make payments so they can try to steal the house. I can't even get an actual person to get a mortgage statement to try and transfer the loan elsewhere. Website "can't find my loan", I drove two hours to one of their offices to make a payment and found an empty office and other neighboring offices said they've never seen anybody enter those offices.
If you value your time or sanity, I strongly suggest you find someone else to go with. The entire process was drawn way out and miserable. While most of the ladies we dealed with were nice, in the end it doesn't make up for the amount of incompetence they posses. While this was my first home buying experience, knowing that it can in nature be stressful at times. This was the most miserable thing me and my wife have ever gone through. Our experience with cross country was not pleasant or very professional. I only really heard from them when my realtor would reach out and ironically Jennifer would reach out on the same day. There’s no reason the approval should have taken that long. Chase bank just got us approved in 3 weeks and closed. Jennifer did not even discuss the issues that were holding up the process until we mentioned chase mortgage credit and asked if they had anything comparable.
