Ms. Susan, the owner and instructor at Cross Creek Stables, is very patient and kind with all of her students. She is very good at tailoring her lessons to meet her student's skill level. I had been riding 9 years before coming to Cross Creek Stables and Ms. Susan finds a fun way to challenge me every lesson whether it's working over poles, barrel racing, or serpentine patterns.
I think the owner is super rude, she didn’t address my daughter by her name when she wanted her to do something, and then screamed at her for not following through. Never dealt with someone so rude to kids. If you plan on dropping of your kids expect them to be treated badly. I stayed, and She even bad mouthed the other kid to us. Unprofessional!!!
I started my riding, as an adult, with Cross Creek Stables. She (Ms. Susan) made sure I knew what I was doing and was competent in one element (walk, trot, 2-point, etc) before advancing to another element. Always answered questions promptly and politely.
We absolutely love Cross Creek Stables. The owner/operator Ms. Susan is one of the sweetest lady’s. She has a deeply rooted passion for teaching people of all ages riding techniques from beginner level to experienced jumpers and barrel riders.
The whole family loved it here. Very friendly and accommodating. Godiva was the perfect pony and Susan couldn’t have been nicer.
