It was easy to use the CBX crossing to fly out of Tijuana Airport. I had an early morning flight in an off-season and there was absolutely zero line. I can’t say how crowded it may get on the busiest days. Other than a few words, I really don’t speak Spanish, but you won’t need to for CBX or the TIJ airport, most things are bilingual and easy to understand. Customs and airport security will feel like a familiar process for anyone who has traveled internationally before.

I can't say enough how convenient and easy it is to use this service. From the valet paking, to the breezing through passport control. It's great if you have Global entry as you can get from the plane to the curb in 15 minutes. Better yet, if you valet, your car will be waiting for you curbside. After a day of traveling, nothing was more relieving then popping into your car after exiting the terminal and heading home. Always buy your pass ahead of time. I would suggest coming early due to multiple processes. First, you must print a tourist permit upon entrance; its free. Second, make sure you have your CBX ticket with boarding pass, if not you can purchase one there for $32 per person. Third, you go through the first luggage check, the staff are slow (idk if its done on purpose) but even when there's a long line they take they take their sweet time and are rude! Cross Border Xpress is a great airport connection. Staff are friendly, helpful, and make crossing into Mexico fast and easy. Super convenient and well organized.

Excellent way to cross the border, second time I use this facilities and I love it! I have been lucky to travel in no busy times and go straight with no queues at all, signs all over at TJ airport to get back to the states and same to get in Mexico, whoever was the brilliant mind to create this heaps thanks mate!
