Dinner and a play with my son yesterday, this is the United Bank Building on West 25 and Lorain which is now a restaurant Crop Bistro, when I was a kid my mother would load all of my brothers and I into a streetcar for our weekly trek to the West Side Market with a stop on the way at the bank to pay bills. The building was designed by the firm Walker and Weeks in 1925 who then commissioned local artist Glen Shaw to paint the mural which was recently discovered under many years of grim and smoke and restored. 60 years later I... read more
Simply amazing. Wonderful food and a very nice atmosphere!
Took some customers here on the suggestion of our local salesman and can say this place knocked it out of the park on the first try. I had the salmon and the others had ribeye which I was able to sample. Don't forget to try the Calamari which is one of the most unique I ever had. Kudos to our waitress Pam who did a great job only to find out later it was her first night waiting tables. Thanks for a great experience and great food to go with it.
