In association with the non-profit SNIP organization of Prineville we are also offering a free spay/neuter and vaccination program for feral animals. Feral drop off is between 8-9am Monday-Friday.

RecommendedAbsolutely blown away with the kind and attentive staff and the level of care my little Angus received from the first call to schedule all the way to pick up. Well worth the 40 minute round trip! And you cannot beat the prices! It’s really nice to find a vet that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg! So, I called about my puppies retained tooth tonight, and front desk person seemed bothered that I had some questions. She pushed me to make an appointment quickly for dental work I wouldn't be able to have completed until May. The way they love our fur babies and the compassion and care they show us as the parents to our furbabies. Worrying about your animals is never easy and the staff help calm those nerves. They are wonderful. Im also truly thankful that they are affordable. We are on a strict income and stressing about the cost of care is real.
the staff is helpful and professional. dr bethany and dr linx are knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. I have been happy with their care of my pets.
I am giving 2 stars because they are really nice and homey. I am also giving 2 stars because they nearly killed my dog! My pitbull Sady is white and suddenly had severe skin issues, in which they thought was cancer. They prescribed prednisone which is extreme for humans as well as dogs. The second deal of prednisone, they said keep her on the lowest dose possible for long term. It was so bad on Sady, it made her bloated, anger issues, breathing problems etc....I researched anything that I could find and found a natural root ... read more
My dogs neutering went fine but the reception couldn’t have cared less when I called with an emergency. I’ll pay the extra to go to a clinic that cares and will get your pet in when there is an emergency.
We have used Crooked Tails for a few years now. Dr. Holman is very knowledgeable, gentle and compassionate. Their prices are fantastic and generally I can get a very quick appointment. Our pets have had surgeries, immunizations and well-pet checks at Crooked Tails. I definitely recommend them!!
We absolutely love Crooked Tails for their loving small town atmosphere and quality care. We drive all the way from Redmond to take our German Pointer to see these excellent veterinarians. We have been using their great service for over two years for all of our vaccination and other pet needs. Our pup’s favorite tech is Jill!!
There are no words for the care they have given my three dogs. We have had some complex situations and the staff are always compassionate and problem solve with me. 5 stars wouldn’t be enough of a rating when it comes to amazing vet care, Crooked Tails is the standard of excellence.
