La Boulangerie > Croissant d'Or since the change of ownership (yet again)
They are taking cards again, but only with a minimum purchase of $20.
Make sure to bring cash, they are without a card machine for awhile.
NOLA's best morning food!! – My husband and I just came back from the 2011 Sugar Bowl. We stayed at Hotel Villa Convento (across the street from Croissant D' Patisserie.) This restaurant has the best almond croissants I have ever tasted!! Their King Cakes are excellent, too!! The worst part was they were closed on Tuesdays--(street cleaning day.) The restaurant staff is friendly and helpful and can suggest mornings foods for your "extreme headache." I can't wait to go back!!
love this place. dont forget to give bird in court yard some crumbs.
the ham and cheese breakfast croissant was insane and had a nice local feel to it. a little pricey but not bad at all
