About

If you are looking for a little more than your average bar, then head to the Crocodile Lounge. A bit of a dive bar, the Crocodile Lounge provides patrons the chance to dive into the fun games in the back. As if that were not enough, the best part of the bar is that with every purchase of beer comes a free pizza! These delicious pies provide four fairly hearty slices at no cost. A great way to round out the night when heavy drinking begins to weigh on the stomach. The games include Skee-Ball and a game to test just how hard and fast you can punch. More than just a bar, time spent at the Crocodile Lounge is a fun night out.

free pizza – Budget's tight? Get fed and drunk all at the same place. Free pizza with my beer? Thank you very much!

Who can deny a hot pizza with a icy cold beer! – I mean seriously where can you get this kind of deal anywhere else in the city? Not a free slice! It is a free personal pie! I mean yeah it is a plain cheese pizza but still! You can get a drink with a meal for no more than $6. That is simply awesome. I stopped by with a group of 7 other drunk friends. We had 13 pies!!! Yah what a great night.

Yes, the pizza is free – This place is legendary for their too good to be true (but totally true!) gimmick of free pizza with a drink purchase. No catch, you are given a ticket to redeem on site for a free personal cheese pizza with literally every drink you purchase. The pizza's pretty yums too! I forced myself to stop redeeming the tickets after my second pizza (the drinks obvi kept flowing). Free stuff is always great, but that's not the only reason to go to Crocodile Lounge. The drinks are cheap, happy hour is even cheaper, and they have naked photo hunt AND skee ball! The main room is basement-ish but friendly with a cool couch nook and over-sized plush pillows. Venture alllll the way to the back for the games and Croc's hidden gem of a surprisingly sexy outdoor patio. They even have trivia nights and other events that encourage activities along with your boozing. I have nothing bad to say, Crocodile Lounge pretty much equals guaranteed happiness. meganinmanhattan dot com

Free Pizza with Drink Purchase! – I love the Crocodile Lounge - even though I do have a friend who has screamed at the pizza guys, "I don't get your business model!" The 14th Street location has a great little patio in the back during the warm summer months and also has skee-ball and photo hunt if you want to play some games while unwinding. Only problem I have is that it can be difficult to get a table or even a barstool. While drinking, you'll get tickets every time you order a beer to redeem for pizza. Not hungry? Keep the tickets. I have been known to go back to the bar late night to redeem my tickets for pizza - sans drink. Don't judge.

Free. Pizza. – Question: What’s better than trivia night and pizza? Answer: Trivia night and FREE pizza. This God-given truth is confirmed every Wednesday night starting at 8:30 at Crocodile Lounge (325 E. 14th Street at 1st Avenue). Here’s the deal – every time you order a drink, the bartender gives you a ticket worth one personal pizza, which can be immediately redeemed at the pizza oven twenty-five yards away. Every time. Sure, the pizza tastes like cardboard smothered in ketchup, but it’s FREE. And sure, the bar is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but where else do you expect to get free food? (Here’s a hint: they’re not passing out free ANYTHING at the Soho Grand Hotel). And while you’re munching on your free pizza, you can scratch your head and search your soul for the answers to such questions as: What is the capital of Iceland? (it’s Reykjavik); Who was the sixth president of the United States? (it was John Quincy Adams); Who sang the 1980s hit “Blame it on the Rain?” (technically Milli Vanilli, though they were lip synching); or What is the name of the blonde guy on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? (Ellen Degeneres). Those with the greatest command of useless knowledge can win pre-paid bar tabs of various amounts, allowing them to drink more booze, and yes, eat more free pizza. So, to get you in trivia mode, here’s a little warm up for you. Question: Why wouldn’t you go to The Crocodile Lounge on Wednesday nights? Answer: Because you hate having fun.

Where Else Can You Get Pizza and a Beer in NYC for $5? – This is the perfect bar for a casual night out with friends. A free pizza with every drink is all the bait needed to reel me in, but on top of that there is skee ball, arcade games, and a photo booth! During the week there is trivia night and nintendo night with complimentary bar tabs at stake. On the downside, it does get hot sometimes due to overcrowding and the pizza oven, but they make up for it with a jumbo sized fan keeping the air moving!

My Favorite NYC Bar – This place is awesome!!!! Free pizza with every drink! I've been here with my boyfriend and some friends and we played ski-ball and used the photo booth which was a cute souvenir. There's a few cozy nooks to sit and hang out in with pillows. I arrived once for trivia night at around 10:30 PM and it was packed with several teams and tough questions. Overall....this place ROCKS!!!!!!!
