If Bland, Tasteless TexMex is your thing, go here. – Man-oh-man. This one really stumps me. I understand that "family" oriented food needs to be somewhat tamer than authentic ethnic food - in other words "BLAND". But Cristina's is the absolute bottom of the barrel. Every dish is like mashed potatoes with Velveeta sauce. The so called salsa is very likely straight from the can of diced tomatoes. The chips drip grease. Mexican hacienda-style chain serves up Tex-Mex with Mex-Mex accent. – In Short Yellow stuccoed walls, iron-gated archways and Mexican pottery conspire to make diners feel transported to old Mexico.
